Accountant

Position Summary

FRSecure is seeking a process-driven, analytical, and collaborative Accountant to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. This role is for someone who will go beyond transactional accounting, serving as a trusted partner across the business to analyze financial data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of progressive experience maintaining general ledgers, batch postings, accounts payable and financial analysis
• Hands-on experience processing multi-state payroll for distributed workforce
• Experience partnering with Human Resources on payroll and compliance matters (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge and solid understanding of and ability to adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Familiarity with process optimization, automation, or system implementations
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions, while proactively anticipating potential challenges
• Strong analytical aptitude with high level of accuracy when reviewing financial data, reconciling accounts, and interpreting complex information
• Ability to clearly explain financial and payroll information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a professional and concise manner
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently, managing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite products
