Position Summary
Job Content
- Track, monitor, and maintain accurate project costs for capital equipment projects.
- Develop and manage project cash flow forecasts and monitor project financial performance.
- Partner closely with Project Managers and Engineering teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost projections for capital projects.
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), identify cost variances, and provide meaningful financial analysis to leadership.
- Assist engineering and project teams with labor tracking and project charging through timesheet reporting.
- Establish and maintain project structures and cost tracking within SAP.
- Prepare monthly financial summary reports and project analysis for Executive Project Review meetings.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and supporting sub-ledgers.
- Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and management reporting tools.
- Prepare financial reporting for the parent company through reporting systems such as BFC, OBSR, and other required tools.
- Cook up coordination with auditors and support audit-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of three (3) years of accounting or finance experience, OR an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, project accounting, capital equipment, or industrial services environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting methodologies and ERP systems such as SAP is strongly preferred.
