Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience to support revenue accounting for Paramount Global's digital advertising and streaming business.

Responsibilities

• Revenue recognition
• Contract review
• Sales order validation
• Month-end close
• Journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX
• Partnering with Sales and Client Services to resolve revenue-related issues
• Ensuring accurate financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with revenue recognition, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Experience with Ora_cle or another major ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

• Advertising or media industry experience
• Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or Operative One
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
