Accountant
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Support the monthly close process, including inventory and cost-related activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analysis
- Absorb and prepare plant forecasts and budgets
- Support internal controls and compliance requirements, including SOX
- Absorb and respond to internal and external audit requests
- Perform sales/use and other tax-related accounting activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting processes (close, reconciliations)
- Analytical ability, detailed orientation, and commitment to accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Excel competence
- Experience with ERP systems
