Accountant

Position Summary

The Accountant reports to the Director of Accounting Services and Reporting and performs financial duties using a broad knowledge of economic and financial information and an advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring University endowment and private scholarship funds and all Foundation funds to include gift reconciliations, investment income calculations/distributions, endowment spending plan calculations, misclassified expense/revenue analysis, monthly Foundation bank reconciliation, Foundation financial statements, and providing support to the Director of Accounting Services, Controller, and Associate Vice President for Budget & Finance as needed.
• Providing support to the grants accountant (invoicing, reporting, review).
