Accountant - Accounting
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide, including medical centers, clinics, physicians, and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high-quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers specialize in innovative programs in women’s health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services, and more. The Accounting department tracks revenue and expenditures, relays necessary financial reports, maintains ledgers, processes and records revenues, and prepares general-purpose financial statements.

As an Accountant I, you will provide essential support to the administrative and financial departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent standards of excellence across our hospitals, clinics, and offices. We are looking for a diligent individual who pays strong attention to detail, can work with minimal supervision, and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
Responsibilities
- Prepare recurring journal entries and non-complex reconciliations.
- Perform other general ledger duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field.
- One (1) year of accounting experience in a health care setting.
Pay
Pay Range: 28.65 - 33.70 USD per hour. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
