Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in maintaining and processing financial information by reconciling accounts, maintaining, updating, and adjusting accounting records.
- Maintain, update, adjust, and enter information into account books, records, and ledgers (manual or automated).
- Verify financial documents and related charitable organization documents to ensure accurate posting to the database/record system.
- Document and process financial documents, annual reports, and registrations by verifying information and entering it into the accounting system.
- Maintain detailed records, code, prepare, and process routine financial documents.
- Answer routine questions and assist other staff by maintaining detailed records.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
- May be required to cross-train and be a backup on other accounting functions.
Qualifications
- Completion of two years college and one year of technical accounting experience or four years of related clerical or bookkeeping experience.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting techniques.
- Elementary knowledge of State accounting laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Familiarity with standard office accounting machines and personal computers.
- Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the general public.

Position requires in-office attendance.
