About the role
The Account Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting and helping manage assigned customer accounts within Blue Chip Group's Beverage Division. This position combines relationship management, business analytics, and cross-functional execution, providing hands-on exposure to how customer partnerships operate inside a 24-hour production facility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day contact supporting assigned customer accounts
- Build professional customer relationships through responsive communication and follow-through
- Aid in onboarding new customers and new product launches
- Maintain accurate customer documentation, product specifications, and account records
- Cook up customer requests, samples, and project timelines
- Identify and resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams
- Support development and validation of customer quotes and pricing
- Compare quoted costs to actual production results and identify variances
- Aid in monitoring account margins and overall financial performance
- Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for account tracking and reporting
- Ensure customer accounts operate efficiently and profitably
- Collaborate daily with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Coordinate production readiness to meet customer expectations and timelines
- Investigate and resolve customer-related issues or complaints
- Aid in preparing account reports and updates for customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain organized records of account activity and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication, and reporting accuracy
- Aid in developing dashboards and reporting tools that improve account visibility and decision-making
- Support process improvements using automation, digital tools, and AI-supported technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (recent or upcoming graduate encouraged to apply)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data reconciliation and validation, Report or dashboard creation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience involving customer interaction, operations, supply chain, or analytics
- Interest in manufacturing, CPG, or beverage industries
- Exposure to ERP or CRM systems
- Experience improving workflows or using digital/automation tools
- Demonstrated ability to balance analytical work with collaborative teamwork
