Account Support Analyst- SES

About the role

This job provides account support activities associated with the quoting, set up, implementation, and administration of groups and accounts. May provide assistance with standard and/or non-standard benefit implementation tasks. May identify and resolve problems related to benefit interpretations, non-standard benefits, handle rating concerns, and coordinate claim extracts and any subsequent adjudication requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and maintain group information and benefit files.
• Interact and provide support activities to Account Managers and/or Sales Executives.
• Resolve benefit inquiries received from Account Managers, producers, sales reps and small market clients. May coordinate meetings, projects, implementations with clients and core partners.
• Handle error management and ensure files are corrected.
• Analyze/coordinate the implementation of new products, group changes, benefit enhancements, non-standard benefits and activities related to mass updates.
• May assist with training new employees.

Requirements

• Required 1 years of relevant, progressive experience in the area of specialization.
• Preferred Experience in health care, insurance or sales.

• Building higher-level benefit/operational/implementation knowledge and skills.
• Gathers and analyzes information, designs and tests solutions to problems, and formulates plans.
• Performs work that is varied and somewhat difficult.
• Solves a range of problems by analyzing possible solutions using standard processes.
• Applies this knowledge to drive system enhancements, process improvements, and the testing of new functionalities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong communication skills- written and verbal.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of Highmark products, services, and processes.

Education

• Required High School/GED.
• Preferred Associates.

Pay Range

Minimum $23.16
Maximum $35.88

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
