About the role

The Account Supervisor works with clients to plan, execute, manage, and analyze digital marketing campaigns. This role interacts with clients daily to build and maintain strong partner relationships and is a key contributor to addressing client issues and projects. The Account Supervisor collaborates closely with internal departments, including project management, business systems analysis, creative, analytics, social media, design, and development, requiring experience in managing projects, timelines, costs, and tight deadlines.

The role uses an understanding of marketing strategies, web metrics, and data to lead client strategic and tactical digital marketing efforts alongside senior-level account staff and cross-functional teams. As the primary client contact, the Account Supervisor leads and implements digital marketing strategies and projects, creates client presentations, campaign results, POVs, and research findings, and develops detailed campaign and project plans as the project owner.

Additional responsibilities include delivering status updates, financial forecasting, and tracking budgets, target goals, and objectives. Periodic travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact for digital marketing strategies and projects.
  • Lead and implement digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Develop detailed campaign and project plans, owning the overall responsibility for the finished product/service.
  • Create client presentations, campaign results, POVs, and research findings.
  • Manage and deliver status updates, financial forecasting, and budget tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, social media, design, and development.
  • Approve copy, scope, and deliverables before submission to the client.
  • Supervise and develop Account Administrator and Account Manager team members.
  • Oversee multiple projects and accounts simultaneously, ensuring successful and collaborative completion.
  • Intercept and triage changes from multiple partner agencies and clients.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and inclusive behaviors.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 to 6 years of related industry experience in client service, digital advertising agency, and pharmaceutical sectors; oncology, HCP, and launch experience preferred.
  • Strong and applied experience in marketing and advertising, with expertise in digital strategy, media, and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required.
  • Demonstrated acumen in the development process for highly technical projects involving iPad, data feeds, CRM campaigns, and/or complex portals.
  • Previous experience with digital sales aid builds is highly desirable.
  • Strong command of agency offerings and expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful and collaborative completion.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to intercept changes from multiple partner agencies and clients and triage appropriately.
  • Strategic skill and strong business acumen.
  • Sound analytical skills and understanding of web development technologies and processes.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, account management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, web metrics, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in project management, including managing timelines, costs, and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with creating and presenting client presentations, campaign results, POVs, and research findings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for developing detailed campaign and project plans.
  • Financial acumen for budget tracking, financial forecasting, and managing target goals and objectives.
  • Problem-solving skills to address client issues and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $110,000 and is applicable to locations within the U.S. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location to account for comparative cost of living.
