Account Specialist II - CSG

The Construction Specialty Group is hiring an Account Specialist II in Cedar Rapids. This internal opportunity is ideal for someone who is ready to grow with TrueNorth, enjoys supporting complex client needs, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, timely, and accurate service to internal and external clients
• Receive and respond to client and prospect inquiries; assist with quoting coverages when applicable
• Create and distribute certificates of insurance and other policy documentation
• Follow up on incomplete applications and change requests
• Support new business and renewal processes, including preparation of renewal materials
• Assist with policy delivery and meet established turnaround expectations
• Coordinate invoicing and support resolution of account discrepancies
• Attend internal meetings, client meetings, and market discussions as needed
• Manage deadlines and organize work to ensure accuracy and completion
• Continue to build industry knowledge through training, CE, and expanded responsibilities
• Support department projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2‑or 4‑year degree preferred
• Prior insurance industry experience preferred
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; basic PowerPoint)
