About the Role
IMA is seeking an Account Specialist to join our HPIEx Real Estate team. This person is responsible for day-to-day tasks within the team, including providing support to the Account Manager and Account Executive for client requests within a book of business, primarily Middle Market and Large Market accounts. This role is eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Account Manager and Account Executive on large and complex client accounts.
- Handles tasks related to invoicing, accounting, endorsement processing, certificate issuance, and audit reconciliation at the direction of the Account Manager and/or Account Executive.
- Utilizes the Agency Management System (EPIC) to maintain detailed account information, including:
- Reviewing and processing certificates of insurance requests.
- Providing direction to the Real Estate Accounting Invoicing team for surplus lines taxes and fees calculations.
- Policy processing.
- Following client-specific instructions for customized auto ID cards, billing requests, financing of premiums, etc.
- Resolving premium discrepancy issues and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies.
- Problem-solves and suggests proactive solutions to the Account Manager and Account Executive.
- Provides timely responses on client matters, including internal clients (team, other departments, etc.) to ensure service needs are met.
- Works independently, leads special project assignments, and/or supports special client projects as needed.
- Temporarily backs up the Account Manager as needed, ensuring clients do not experience a gap in service knowledge.
Pay
Salary Range: $50,000 USD - $60,000 USD
