Account Service Representative II - Commercial

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective utilization of telephone-system features to achieve greater productivity with appropriate collection practices and techniques.
- Apply thorough knowledge of patient accounting, third-party payer procedures, governmental regulations, and managed-care contracting to proactively manage the billing and collection process and respond to patient-account inquiries in a customer-satisfaction manner.
Requirements
- High school graduate required; physician or hospital billing experience and/or training, BS or BA preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, third-party billing and collections.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Problem-solving ability and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Windows-based personal computers; experience with electronic claims-editing software preferred.

Pay
$21.00–$32.55 hourly.
