About the role
The Account Sales Manager (ASM) reports to the District Sales Manager and is responsible for performing outside sales of product inventory while driving an assigned route of accounts. The primary role involves increasing product sales and placement of product displays at various "off premise" stores, upselling inventory, cooler space, and product displays. The ASM also ensures that all Red Bull equipment is clean and in good working order, performs outside sales functions, evaluates competitor activities, meets monthly sales goals, builds and protects the Red Bull brand, increases inventory and diversity of products, and works collaboratively across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage products and relationships with customer contacts for the sale of Red Bull products at assigned RBDC accounts
- Determine current and ongoing product needs at accounts and explore ways to increase sales
- Ensure all Red Bull equipment is clean and in good working order
- Perform outside sales functions
- Evaluate all competitors' activities such as new launches and price reductions
- Meet monthly goals focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new account setup, and other merchandising components
- Increase inventory and diversity of products at each RBDC assigned account and improve in-store branding while delivering fresh product
- Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices
- Be a major contributor/leader among peer group
- Maintain relationships with customer contacts at each RBDC assigned account that matter most for this role
Requirements
- Valid US Driver’s License and DOT Medical card
- At least 21 years of age
- Experience in sales, account management, and DSD is a plus
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
- Travel 0-10%
