About the role
The Account Project Manager drives the completion of sales contracts from implementing customer purchase orders into Oracle through execution of the order throughout the manufacturing process. This role works closely with engineering, planning, and production to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders: build direct customer relationships, navigate issues, and negotiate solutions to ensure efficient and effective production.
- Book POs, review and track pricing changes, quantity changes, due date changes, and product changes.
- Ensure all POs are delivered by the due date, maintaining constant communication with the customer.
- Attend trade shows annually, assisting with show preparation and booth logistics.
- Identify and implement internal process improvements to exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop packaging specifications that meet customer requirements.
- Problem-solve issues in coordination with internal departments and customers.
- Manage customer inventory and samples, working with quality and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Work directly with Sales and the Strategic Project Manager.
- Meet with customers regularly to provide production updates, status reports, and follow up on unanswered questions.
- Attend daily production meetings and report back on assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma and a 2-year associate degree or equivalent.
- 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience and strong understanding of Oracle and Microsoft programs; proficient in basic computer skills and typing.

- Working knowledge of order, material processes, and transactions throughout manufacturing.

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with managers and staff.
Physical Demands
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
This role operates in a production/office environment with:
- Loud noise levels for extended periods.
- Standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs.
- Exposure to strong odors, confined spaces, warm and cold temperatures, and wet/slippery surfaces.
