About the role
We are looking for an Account Project Manager to support client growth and lead product development initiatives for a manufacturing and branding organization. This role blends account stewardship, project coordination, and product line support, requiring someone who can keep multiple priorities moving while delivering a high standard of service. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to partner effectively with customers and internal teams from concept through execution.
Responsibilities
- Guide customer projects from initiation through completion by overseeing timelines, scope, budgets, and key deliverables.
- Build strong partnerships with existing clients, respond to requests promptly, and identify opportunities to expand business within current accounts.
- Coordinate new product launches by organizing kickoff meetings, preparing clear project briefs, and aligning cross-functional teams on objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation for new and existing products, including specifications, images, order information, catalogs, and supporting records.
- Facilitate product setup activities by initiating part number requests, preparing specification materials, and supporting internal launch processes.
- Prepare sales orders, purchase requests, and sourcing documentation, including RFQs for new components and cost estimates.
- Arrange product review sessions with relevant departments, capture feedback, and track revisions to ensure updates are implemented.
- Serve as the internal expert on assigned customer accounts by understanding purchasing patterns, priorities, and upcoming needs.
- Develop customer-ready presentations and other materials to communicate project updates, product information, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in account management, project coordination, product line management, or a closely related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of project management principles and experience supporting customer-facing initiatives.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in environments involving sales, product development, sourcing, and production.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent customer needs clearly.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and a proactive approach to follow-up and issue resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms, with comfort managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%; familiarity with retail or store environments is a plus.
