Responsibilities
- Own a bookings quota and territory, sourcing and closing professional services engagements
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with government executives and agency leadership
- Lead solution-scoping conversations and develop customer-centric proposals
- Navigate SLED/NGO procurement vehicles effectively
- Partner with resellers and channel partners to maximize services reach
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in the company CRM
- Deliver executive-level presentations to senior government stakeholders
- Drive customer adoption and lifecycle management through proactive sales activities
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in consulting sales with success in state/local government and/or NGO markets
- Proven track record of closing complex, SOW-based services engagements
- Deep familiarity with government procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Strong executive presence to engage senior public sector stakeholders
- Knowledge of the company platform solutions preferred
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
- Interest in rapidly-evolving AI tooling for customer use and delivery models
Pay
$120,000 – $150,000 annually
