Account Operations Specialist
Responsibilities
- Process account-related requests and documentation accurately and within established service level expectations.
- Perform a variety of administrative and operational support functions, including mail processing, document management, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper retention of documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Compile, track, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and statistics.
- Review and respond to service requests within established turnaround times and customer service standards.
- Research and resolve account inquiries, discrepancies, and operational exceptions.
- Perform account maintenance activities and updates while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct daily reconciliation reviews and maintain supporting documentation for outstanding items.
- Investigate and follow up on unresolved reconciliation issues, working collaboratively with appropriate departments to achieve timely resolution.
- Process returned mail, address updates, and related account maintenance activities.
- Support internal teams by handling operational requests and responding to inquiries.
- Provide phone and email support to internal and external customers, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Aid with special projects, audits, reporting requirements, and other operational initiatives as assigned.
- Cross-train and provide support to other operational functions to ensure business continuity and service excellence.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong documentation and data entry skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage administrative functions such as filing and office support.
- Clerical administrative skills, including reconciliation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years of administrative experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Albany, NY.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
