About the role

With your sales experience, ability to efficiently manage your time, excellent customer relations skills, and excitement for technology, you'll deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and the way businesses connect. Whether you're continuously hunting and prospecting for new business or growing existing accounts, you'll consult with customers to identify their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions to solve them and ultimately deliver a powerful return for customers while improving their business and growing our revenue.

This role will be covering the Glendale, WI area and focuses on driving sales, increasing service revenue, and managing relationships for accounts in the 1–19 Employee Segment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and qualify leads within your territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Educate and excite customers while leveraging innovative business solutions.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Understand and sell groundbreaking integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.
  • Track and report progress through sales force automation tools.
  • Engage clients using Verizon's Velocity Selling methodology, leveraging AI and advanced CRM tools to boost efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory (expected travel may be up to approximately 50% of the time).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree—Associate's or Bachelor's—or related certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales and educational experience (e.g., SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools, social media).
  • Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success.

Pay

This is a commission-based position offering a competitive, lucrative salary that includes base pay and target individual-based commission. Compensation varies by geography, performance, and experience. Top earners have the potential to exceed compensation plans and compete for various sales incentives.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. This is a mobile role where you'll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.
