Account Manager – Targeted Accounts (Birmingham & Knoxville)
About the role
The Account Manager – Targeted Accounts will contribute to BeOne’s overall sales objectives by performing assigned sales activities. The ideal candidate will manage territory and administrative requirements efficiently, ensuring full compliance with drug laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Promote BeOne’s Hematology and Solid Tumor (Hematology in the near term) products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory.
- Implement sales, marketing, and patient support programs to acquire and keep appropriate patients on BeiGene Hematology and Solid Tumor products.
- Train and educate physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne’s Hematology and Solid Tumor products.
- Ensure healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of BeOne's Hematology and Solid Tumor products with their patients.
- Maintain communication and integrate activities, when appropriate, with BeOne’s Market Access and Customer Enterprise teams.
- Collaborate with Field Medical when appropriate.
- Identify customer prescribing trends and territory dynamics and ensure appropriate people and resources are allocated to opportunities.
- Successfully complete all clinical training, sales training, and eLMS/Compliance Wire assignments.
- Perform all administrative functions required of the position, including reporting call activity and entering customer / account information in the appropriate call reporting system in a timely manner, as well as submitting expenses and utilizing the corporate credit card.
- Ensure compliance with applicable BeOne policies and procedures (e.g., healthcare compliance policy, adverse event reporting, travel and expense reporting).
- Absorb and communicate insights proactively to marketing and sales leadership.
- Must be skilled in working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. with previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Significant oncology experience, 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales & sales management.
- Self-starting, self-managing independent work style, dedicated to customer service, results-oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
- Understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes, familiarity with specialty sales, IV medications, injectables, orals, Medicare Part D, etc.
- Experience measuring and analyzing key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
- Proven track record of resilience in the face of challenges.
Qualifications
- Expertise in conducting conversations with members of the customer base when stakes are high and opinions vary.
Skills
- Highly skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay
$158,600.00 - $203,600.00 annually
Schedule
Must be willing to travel over a relatively large geography which will include daily and overnight travel up to 50-75%
