Account Manager, Strategic Global Customers
About the role
The role of the Global Strategic Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. They will cover our largest global clients, aligned to the company’s strategy and supporting the global directives. This role will drive a high-performance culture within the Americas region. By collaborating with internal partners, the strategic global Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service and a valuable solution to our largest global clients
- Drive a high-performance culture within the Americas region
- Collaborate with internal partners to manage a defined global book of business
- Own the end-to-end customer relationship and manage all commercial activities within accounts
- Expand Refinitiv’s footprint within their accounts and focus on maintaining overall customer engagement
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals
- Accountable and responsible for simple order taking and revenue retention (primarily)
- Grow Refinitiv’s revenue and market share at high value and complex designated accounts
- Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts
- Expand and retain managed net revenue
- Develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling
- Understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
- Present and communicate at all levels within an organization
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
- Industry experience within the customer segment
- Strong product knowledge
- Relationship building skills
- Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
- Problem solving—ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
- Proven account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment
- Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization
Compensation and Benefits
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $141,000 - $235,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
