About the role
The role involves managing network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and providing technical support to customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and servers.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and email.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on network equipment.
- Implement and troubleshoot new technologies as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in network management.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zabbix.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- CCNA certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skills
- Network troubleshooting and configuration.
- Customer service and technical writing skills.
- Basic scripting and automation using Bash or PowerShell.
