About the role
We are seeking an Account Manager to represent FARO Creaform, a respected metrology brand with highly differentiated products. The ideal candidate will leverage their established business acumen and strategic sales expertise to consult with major accounts and drive long-term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to interested and/or potential customers
- Participation in trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events
- Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system
- Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications for the Sales Operations to prepare the quote
- Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period
- Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast, and participate to forecast review meetings
- Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Sales Manager
- Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
- Protect the profit margins of FARO Creaform by organizing efficient travel and adding value; rather than discounting
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field
- 1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment
- A strong interest in technology and learning about technological products
- Experience in a technical field, sales, and/or customer support
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and meet the company’s driving eligibility requirements
- The ability to safely lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of FARO Creaform products and services
- Proficiency in CRM software

$125,000 - $150,000

Home office, ideally based around the Dallas area
