About the role
The Account Manager at Twelve is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client management, from proactively managing briefs through production to cultivating and securing long-term partnerships. Acting as the primary client liaison, this role ensures seamless communication, alignment, and execution across internal teams, including creative, development, and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage all new client briefs through production.
- Efficiently manage all daily external client communication relating to active briefs through production.
- Cook up and manage all internal communications related to client activity, collaborating with development, creative, and production teams to ensure timely updates and alignment.
- Lead the project management of all internal partners to respect Twelve’s expected response times and client’s ASL’s.
- Track and cultivate new business activity, regularly engaging with prospective clients to develop partnerships and identify growth opportunities, and providing weekly status updates to stakeholders.
- Nurture and strengthen new business relationships to secure long-term partnerships through in-person meetings, calls, and consistent follow-ups.
- Define and implement tailored client strategies to identify opportunities for growth, address client-specific challenges, and exceed sales and account targets.
- Proactively identify and analyze needs, gaps, and areas of opportunity to capture within the client’s supply base to generate additional opportunities for Twelve.
- Lead RFP and tender submissions, leveraging internal resources to deliver compelling, competitive proposals and secure new opportunities.
- Mind the industry trends and client feedback to inform strategy, maintain a competitive edge, and ensure Twelve’s solutions remain relevant and impactful.
Requirements
- 5yrs+ experience in a similar role within the retail, beauty or luxury industry.
- Highly analytical with the ability to think strategically and be a confident decision-maker.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and multiple tasks efficiently in a professional and respectful manner.
- Be a creative problem-solver who will tenaciously and autonomously seek and provide viable solutions to both internal and external challenges.
- Negotiation skills
