Account Manager - Partners
About the role
Develops deep customer knowledge and relationships to drive client retention and new sales opportunities across a set of accounts with medium-high strategic complexity and priority.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a key relationship owner for a set of medium-high complexity/priority customer accounts, maintaining or increasing revenue from existing accounts.
- Develops and implements go-to-market plans for assigned accounts.
- Possesses deep knowledge of key industry trends and shares the LSEG vision to align with the client’s agenda.
- Engages in solution selling to uncover opportunities and collaborates with product sales teams.
- Leads account planning, defining key growth and retention strategies.
- Owns pipeline hygiene, accurate sales and cancel forecasting, pipeline coverage tracking, and path-to-goal analysis.
- Leads the annual price increase process and ensures effective price realization across all products and services.
- Applies the customer lifecycle framework to ensure strong renewal execution and minimize cancellations.
- Develops authoritative insights and recommendations to improve deal size, deal terms, close rates, customer acceptability, and address objections with a focus on increasing opportunity value.
- Executes commercial strategy and builds a reputation for effective partnership, fostering a collaborative "A-team" environment.
- Maintains high customer happiness and health scores.
Requirements
- Good understanding of the financial services industry.
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- Expert-level product and workflow expertise with advanced industry knowledge.
Career Stage: Manager
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $119,200 - $198,800, with variations by geographic location, city, and state. This role is eligible for a Variable Incentive Compensation plan, with target variable compensation commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will reflect job-related knowledge, skills, and equivalent experience.
