This position is of critical importance, as this individual will represent a sales organization committed to delivering exceptional results, customer-focused service, and ethical business practices. Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and therapeutic area disease-state information to target HCPs.
- Execute business planning and strategy for assigned territory.
- Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, including clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
- Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate patient education about the assigned therapeutic area.
- Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
- Increase awareness of the assigned therapeutic area and help HCPs identify treatment gaps in diagnosed patients.
- Achieve call activity, adherence targets, and financial goals for the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
- Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
- Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience, preferably in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care; experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
- Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel (majority of time spent in-market).

Pay
Presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $105,000 to $136,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on factors such as geographical location and experience. This position is also part of an Incentive Compensation (IC) Commission Plan and the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
