Account Manager of Client Services / Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Pharmacy Services

About the Role
The Account Manager of Client Services cultivates and maintains strategic relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and client retention. This position requires 75% travel, with an ideal location within the South Dakota, Nebraska, or Wyoming territory.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, with hours dependent on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Builds strong partnerships with clients through consultation and collaboration for sustained success and growth.
- Accountable for all aspects of client relationships; serves as the primary contact for the client base.
- Engages with all organizational levels to discuss issue resolution, growth opportunities, and pharmacy performance during Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Pharmacy Optimization Services (PSOPs).
- Leads the client contract renewal process in collaboration with key PharMerica stakeholders.
- Owns the client issue escalation and resolution process, ensuring timely responses and setting proper expectations.
- Manages client interactions through the company’s CRM software, tracking activities, issues, tasks, contacts, and communications.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for the Client Book of Business, communicating critical quality measurements to address customer needs and deliver world-class service.
- Provides pharmacy service, performance, and reporting data; prepares reports, business review materials, and facilitates client engagement calls and training.
- Leads the onboarding of new clients and facilities to ensure seamless implementation.
- Collaborates with functional departments (credit/collections, contracting, and marketing) to meet corporate billing and receivable standards.
- Represents PharMerica at corporate, networking, and client events and conferences.
- Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of experience in client management, customer service, or client support, preferably in a healthcare or business-to-business setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Excellent time-management and basic computer skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work within a team.
- Experience in project management and client-facing customer service roles.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
