Account Manager - Mobile Communication

About the role

Pepperl+Fuchs, a leading company in industrial sensor and intrinsically safe explosion protection technologies, seeks an experienced Account Manager to join its team. This position is based in Houston, TX, with a focus on the Texas, Central US to Minnesota region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct presentations and sales calls at designated target account sites.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships through 24/7 customer service including pricing, quotes, delivery and technical assistance.
• Work closely with customers to define product requirements.
• Maintain detailed records and communications as needed.
• Expedite existing orders while working closely with purchasing and manufacturing.
• Provide new product information and technical training to customers.
• Absorb additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, IT, or Manufacturing Technologies.
• At least 5 to 7 years of minimum sales experience with at least 2 years in a global environment.
• Ability to work and communicate in a variety of settings.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure vendors.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes.
• Experience selling telecom and industrial communications in a business-to-business setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as the intranet and the internet.

The salary offered is commensurate with experience.
