Account Manager-Military Division
Role Summary
As an Account Manager in Qorvo’s Military Division, you will play a critical role in managing and expanding our relationships with key military clients. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the unique needs of our military customers and to ensure that Qorvo's products and services align perfectly with their objectives and demands.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with military clients, serving as the primary point of contact and liaison between Qorvo and the customer.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s needs and objectives. Create tailored solutions that leverage Qorvo's technology and capabilities to meet these requirements.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities within the military sector and work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and expand Qorvo's market share.
Technical Insight and Support: Provide technical insights and support to clients, ensuring that they understand the features and benefits of Qorvo’s products.
Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with both Qorvo’s standards and federal acquisition regulations. Manage contractual and strategic risks effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Qorvo’s defense and aerospace business unit, engineering, research and development, and manufacturing teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer programs, emerging trends, technologies, and potential competitors in the military sector.
Reporting and Communication: Regularly report to management on account status, challenges, and market opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or military experience is a plus.
Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role, preferably in the technology or defense industry.
Strong understanding of RF technology and its applications in the military sector.
Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
