Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful management of accounts from project execution to completion.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and facilitate and track projects and financial deliverables.
  • Work closely with the project team members to communicate client needs and expectations, ensure timelines are developed, and identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Prepare for and lead internal and client status meetings.
  • Understand and ensure the team follows all client required standard operating procedures and requirements.
  • Alert other internal departments of resourcing needs.
  • Draft scope of work and budgets based on client direction and ensure internal alignment and approval before submitting to client for review/approval/processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets to support internal and client needs.
  • Monitor and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Report budget changes (i.e., change in scope that may lead to overage) to the client in a timely manner.
  • Submit invoices, accruals, etc. in a timely manner consistent with both internal and client directed SOPs.
  • Prepare for and is accountable for actions discussed in monthly revenue and forecasting meetings.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status updates and client requested reports.
  • Actively strive to drive organic growth on assigned accounts by developing and maintaining excellent, positive client relationships and providing a high-quality service.
  • Support and guide junior members of the team; provide training and mentoring on administrative and process-related tasks as required.
  • Work efficiently with members of the Meeting Planning department in a proactive and organized manner to ensure proper coordination and execution of virtual and live events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of account management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Experience managing publication projects
  • Excellent project management skills, including organization, prioritization, and delegating
  • Demonstrated understanding of the clinical development process and strategic communication planning
  • Excellent financial acumen
