JOB OVERVIEW:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You will be an Account Manager in our Marine Insurance practice. Our experienced team of brokers brings an unparalleled level of service and expertise to this evolving niche market. We have an exciting growth opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our team in New York City, where you will have the opportunity to grow your experience by supporting our Marine Insurance team with all aspects of client sales and service. An account manager in EPIC’s Transportation and Logistics team focuses on all Business Insurance policies/lines within the group. The candidate will have strong knowledge of Business Insurance policies and will look to grow our current book of business by cross-selling, marketing current policies, and being point person for producers to send new submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage practice’s full book of Business Insurance policies
  • Deliver support to sales staff for new applications
  • Pursue opportunities to cross-sell Business Insurance policies
  • Review current policy terms on existing book of business
  • Manage policy endorsements
  • Cook up client and prospect materials

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years experience working in an insurance brokerage agency is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to form relationships at all levels
  • Close attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced while delivering high quality results
  • A client-first and flexible attitude, with a focus on solutions

Compensation

The national average salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
