About the role
This is a hybrid position primarily based in Columbia, MD, St. Paul, MN or Houston, TX. We’re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing, and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for servicers and portfolio-related matters, including issue resolution, escalation, and special projects.
- Represent the company in developing and maintaining strong relationships with servicers, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct operational reviews of servicers to assess their readiness and suitability for Backup Servicing engagements.
- Act as a subject matter expert in the servicing of consumer asset classes, including unsecured consumer loans, auto loans, small business loans, and renewable energy financing.
- Identify and develop new asset classes and revenue opportunities for the Backup Servicing business.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet unique servicing and portfolio requirements.
- Review contractual documents to assess risk and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in consumer asset servicing, trust services, account management, or structured finance.
- Demonstrated experience with residential or asset-backed portfolios, preferably in a Corporate Trust or Backup Servicing context.
- Strong understanding of servicing operations and performance metrics across various consumer asset classes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple systems and tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to independently perform tasks within the Relationship Management lines of business.
- Knowledge of servicing operations and performance metrics across various consumer asset classes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $130,000.
