The Account Manager II is an individual contributor role that is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics. What The Candidate Will Do Secure Capacity for LoadContact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; continue monitoring the shipment status and updating in the system, then notifying the shipper and/or Receiver and rescheduling when necessarySet-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendorsUpload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates, hours or operations, etc.Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responsesCorrespond with customer and carrier regarding detention informationIssue ComChecks within established guidelinesMaintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management SystemMaintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by CustomerManage accounts receivables within specified guidelines Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent1-3 years of experienceMust be open to working 5 days in office Preferred Qualifications Completed College degreeTransportation/Logistics experienceKnowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Suite Benefits & Compensation For U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
