Account Manager II
LAHZO · United States · Yesterday
RemoteRemoteCustomer Service$87k–$96k/yrFull-time
What You’ll Do
- Portfolio Ownership & Client Relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts from post-implementation onward, owning both internal and external communication so clients experience one coordinated relationship instead of multiple uncoordinated touchpoints
- Run the full account lifecycle: onboarding handoff, stabilization, optimization, renewal, and expansion
- Maintain visibility into your expansion opportunities in the CRM so Growth Operations can track portfolio-wide expansion trends
- Customer Retention & Renewals
- Own renewal forecasting and confidence scoring for your portfolio
- Proactively manage the renewal process and mitigate churn risk through early risk detection and strategic account planning
- Deliver quarterly business reviews that connect agent performance, marketing performance, and revenue attribution
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Sales, Implementation, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure a clean handoff from onboarding into steady-state management
- Represent the client's voice in internal conversations about roadmap, releases, and prioritization
Who You Are
- Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in account management, client success, or a client-facing revenue role, ideally at a SaaS or AI-powered product company
- Proven track record in SaaS account management, post-sale relationship building, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder customer organizations
- Hands-on fluency with a CRM (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Comfortable reading and presenting performance data (conversation volume, lead rate, appointment rate, marketing-attributed leads, revenue attribution) well enough to run a client-facing QBR without a marketer in the room
- Demonstrated ability to grow an account, not just retain it: experience identifying upsell or expansion opportunity and closing it
- Ability to build trust-based relationships across both technical and business stakeholders, from day-to-day users to executive decision-makers
- Strong written and verbal communication that flexes between an engineering standup and an executive client call in the same day
- Track record of building process and structure in ambiguity rather than waiting to be handed a fully formed one
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in RV, Marine, Powersports, Heavy Agriculture, and Specialty Healthcare verticals
- Familiarity with conversational AI, chatbot, or sales engagement platforms
- Familiarity with paid media fundamentals (impressions, CTR, cost per lead) sufficient to connect marketing performance to agent performance in client conversations
Skills & Attributes
- Owns outcomes, not just activities: measures success in renewal, expansion, and client trust, not activity counts
- Data-literate rather than data-dependent: can read a health score or a risk flag and turn it into a decision
- Direct communicator who can deliver a hard message to a client or an internal stakeholder without softening it into ambiguity
Compensation
- Base: $87k to $96k
- Equity: Equity package
- Benefits: Comprehensive medical, vision, dental, 401k retirement plan, unlimited PTO, a flexible remote-first culture, and a collaborative, high-trust environment where your ideas matter.
