Account Manager II

About the role
The Account Manager II is responsible for all aspects of Client Service Team operations including CCMSI profit and loss accountability. This role involves developing and maintaining key business relationships with clients and other regulatory bodies, managing team operations, and ensuring the success of CCMSI's service responsibilities to the client.
Responsibilities
- Determine client goals and objectives.
- Meet with clients both formally and informally, as necessary.
- Develop and maintain key business relationships with clients and other organizations.
- Establish, implement, and monitor policies and procedures required to satisfy client’s goals and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of the Client Service Team operation and provide a focal point for accountability for success and service responsibilities.
- Direct all activities necessary to achieve client's goals and objectives, including marketing, accounting, underwriting, claims administration, loss control, and excess.
- Monitor and analyze program financial statements; recommend and implement changes to enhance financial management.
- Provide high-level financial, operational, and risk management analyses and develop recommendations for the client.
- Assist account executives in the development of new clients.
- Oversee feasibility studies and direct new client start-up activities.
- Supervise Program Coordinators, Claim Supervisors, Claim Representatives, Loss Control Representatives, Accountants, and Account Executives.
- Identify, develop, and implement necessary information systems.
- Develop financial projections for the client.
- Develop and monitor team budget (CCMSI budget).
- Coordinate marketing and lead generation activities, as appropriate.
- Perform peer review audits for other Client Service Teams.
- Direct educational activities to ensure professional development of team members.
- Negotiate Client Service contracts.
- Handle duties with minimal supervision from Regional Operations Manager, Branch Manager, or Senior Account Manager.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with proven proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a team leader in a Client Service Team organization.
- Proven supervisory or project supervision experience.
- Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours.
- Responsive to internal and external client needs.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of insurance industry or risk management experience preferred.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is highly valued but not required.

Pay
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000. The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
Schedule
8:00 am - 4:30 pm ET.
