About the role
The Account Manager I is a key member of a dynamic sales team responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships with small and medium-sized customers. This role involves daily interaction with assigned customer territories using digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer’s business and supply chain through research and customer interaction, analyzing customer needs and developing and implementing solutions.
- Collaborates with internal teams, including sales counterparts and operations, to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Engages regularly with customers to ensure they understand service offerings and maximize the utilization of products and services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following: Bachelor's degree/equivalent OR four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR one (1) year of the Company's business-to-business sales experience.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities including communication skills, product knowledge, solution building, time management, organization, self-motivation, adaptability, problem solving, business acumen, ability to build and maintain client relationships, leveraging technology.
- Preferred qualifications include quantifiable and measurable sales achievements, and sales experience using digital tools/CRM.
Qualifications
- Minimum education/minimum experience: Bachelor's degree/equivalent OR 4 years of business-to-business sales experience OR 1 year of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.
