Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively cultivate Lockton Affinity’s relationships with existing and prospective clients, carriers, vendors, and other providers.
  • Responsible for routine service and administration, which includes responding to client inquiries, documentation and reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct all benefit marketing efforts, including the production of Request for Proposals, coordination of vendor response, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of client reports with recommendations.
  • Responsible for implementing client launches and renewals, including carrier involvement, employee correspondence, adherence to a project timeline, and coordination with vendor partners.
  • Accurately input and maintain client information in Lockton Affinity’s data management systems.
  • Partner with team leaders, Producers, sales, and service associates to support the overall goals of Lockton Affinity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years in the insurance industry, specifically in the employee benefits area, is typically required.
  • Required Life & Health insurance licenses or ability to obtain immediately.
  • Professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong presentation skills including preparation and execution.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, professionalism, and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) or similar software applications.
