Account Manager - Grocery Retail Merchandising

About the role

This is a part-time position with a target hiring range of $19.71–$25.00 per hour and eligibility for a quarterly bonus. Starting wage is based on factors including geographic location and experience. Our ideal location for a candidate to reside is in the Bergen, NY area.

Responsibilities

• Represent a portfolio of up to 50 brands in the Organic/Natural Food and Beverage industry, such as Olipop, Chocolove and TruFru.
• Work approximately 24 hours per week, 3–4 days per week, Monday through Friday (days are flexible), starting between 5 am and 8 am.
• Build and maintain a consistent route of weekly store visits servicing Whole Foods Market retailers in Edgewater, Closter, Woodcliff Lake, White Plains, and Chappaqua; locations are subject to change based on business needs.
• Grow brands in your portfolio and maintain the highest level of retail standards:
• Build relationships with retail leaders to promote brands during weekly visits.
• Maintain communication strategies with retail partners via email, call, text, or in-person conversations.
• Report in real-time on brand updates via the Go Spot Check application.
• Ensure products are merchandised to brand standards.
• Perform basic shelf maintenance: facing/fronting, tag compliance, and proper signage.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to walking and standing for up to 8 hours; frequent bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling; frequent lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting between 40–50 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold environments, such as refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to drive or otherwise travel between multiple retail locations on a daily basis.

The full wage range for this position is $21.68–$33.44 per hour.
