About the role

Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts.
- Generate viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, sales events, networking, vendor events, and computer programs.
- Contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business.
- Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts.
- Team with individuals within sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.
- Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin, and controllable expense objectives.
- Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service-related issues.
- Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply it when servicing customers.
- Maintain and submit all required sales administration reports.
- Regularly attend company meetings.

Qualifications
- Experience selling in an Account Manager environment and/or demonstrated success working with customers.
- Experience with inventory sales.
- Preferred: Degree.
- Focused on formwork and/or shoring products.
- Proven analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of market behavior, competitive trends, and proactive response.
- Ability to meet weekly targets for revenue-driving activities, lead generation, customer visits, and close meetings with decision-makers.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and BlueBeam.
- Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills.
- Outstanding math skills and ability to estimate, price, and prepare scope proposals.
- Exposure to blueprint reading.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with consistent usage of more than 20% of the average work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required as a condition of employment.
