Account Manager/Driver -Food Service

This is a part-time position, working Friday through Monday, as a Food Service Account Manager/Driver with a passion for human services. We are a nationally recognized non-profit with 35+ locations across Washington state that provided a chance for change to over 9,500 individuals in 2024.

Responsibilities
The Food Service Account Manager/Driver serves a dual role in that they are responsible for fulfilling and completing deliveries to CFS customers. They are responsible to prepare meals following exact recipes and specifications using a variety of cooking methods while following all food safety guidelines and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Filling customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, product labeling and staging methods.
- Representing CFS in a positive manner while ensuring that CFS customers are receiving the highest level of customer service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED and possess a valid WA state Food handler’s card.
- At least 2 years’ experience in food service account management or restaurant management.
- At least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type) and have some knowledge of the area of service.
- Ability to comprehend local maps and directions.
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Experience in developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws.
- Must possess a valid driver license and qualify as a PHS Approved Driver.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Minimum 1-year high volume commercial cooking.
- Must be able to accurately follow and scale recipes.
- Must have excellent knife skills.
- Must understand food service terminology.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Some experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Culinary school experience.
