This is because we’ve found the ability to seamlessly collaborate in-person is very valuable to the nature of our work. Regardless of location, onsite time and periodic travel for things like client meetings, collab sessions, production work, pitches, and team gatherings is important and expected.

The Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for the relationships between Leap and its clients. This means understanding the clients' business to be able to manage their needs and expectations AND understanding the Leap’s offerings to be able to shepherd internal resources. The Account Manager acts as a key layer for the account team, juggling it all, from day-to-day relationship building to high-level strategic guidance.
This particular account role will work heavily with our government client accounts. Broad Responsibilities Include:
- Client engagement - relationships with mid-senior and junior levels, senior level client familiarity
- Manages up to account management leadership - provides info on client relationship health, project status and hourly burn rate
- Cross-functional team leadership – leads meeting and presentations, takes point on next steps
- Strategic thought leadership - input to internal strategists, guidance to teams
- Project involvement - manages high and medium-touch assignments and is the driving force for KO, fulfillment and completion of quality deliverables
- Creative guidance and assessment - ensures great direction going in and high quality going out
- Media guidance and assessment - ensures great direction going in and high quality going out
- Digital experience assessment - manages and holds teams accountable for timely, insightful, actionable reporting
- Production influence – works with producers to manages project and gain client alignment to ensure momentum and efficiency
- Financial awareness – approves billing, monitors hours and helps manage projects for efficiency
What do You Need?
3+ years agency account management experience
Experience in marketing and advertising strategy
Experience managing government or public sector clients - and an understanding of the unique nuances of collaboration, compliance, and communication that come with it
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with prior experience in customer- or client-facing role(s)
Experience brainstorming with a team for creative ideation
Exposure to both B2B and B2C marketing
Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and deadlines without sacrificing timeliness or quality
High degree of detail- and process-orientation
Self-starter mentality with a passion for continuous learning
