About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for achieving or exceeding the Cysview® sales quota through targeted activities in hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgical centers, and other major medical centers within Connecticut, Rhode Island, and West Chester, NY.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales objectives within the assigned geographic area.
- Develop and deliver a Territory Business Plan.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Urology decision-makers and other healthcare providers in assigned accounts.
- Demonstrate high proficiency and expertise in discussing and presenting the company’s product, including related device/equipment partners.
- Maintain a high profile with decision-makers in strategic accounts.
- Promote, facilitate, and conduct all required customer training programs.
- Routinely manage sales promotion activities in the assigned territory.
- Complete administrative duties (CRM input, expense reporting, etc.) promptly and within budget.
- Execute field sales activities with professionalism while adhering to promotional guidelines and corporate code of conduct.
- Collaborate with promotional marketing partners.
- Attend Urological industry meetings as needed.
Requirements
- BA/BS or MBA/MS degree.
- Computer proficiency for territory operations.
- Frequent business travel (up to 75%).
- Ability to carry and transport sales literature.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must reside within the assigned geographic area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Device or hospital sales experience.
- Operating room experience.
- Understanding of the payer reimbursement process.
- Drug/device combination experience.
- Therapeutic area experience in Urology/Oncology.
- Proven sales track record with strong communication and execution skills.
- Ability to manage a territory budget and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with specialist physicians and opinion leaders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including public speaking.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret clinical data.
- Collaborative skills for managing relationships with external business partners (equipment manufacturers) and internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Medical Affairs).
- Strong project management and teamwork abilities.
- Sound decision-making, proactive problem-solving, and accountability.
