Account Manager, AWM (Southeast Region) - Future Opportunities
About the role

As an Account Manager within our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes by partnering with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive wound care solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Promote the full Advanced Wound Management portfolio, addressing a wide range of wound care needs across patient populations
- Education clinicians and healthcare staff on the clinical and economic value of Smith+Nephew solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including clinicians, nursing staff, and purchasing stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within existing and new accounts
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support account growth and customer satisfaction
- Deliver in-services, product demonstrations, and educational programs to support best practices in wound care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success in sales, preferably within medical device, healthcare, or a related field
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate clinical and economic value
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence customer decision-making
- Experience managing a territory, pipeline, and sales planning process
- High level of accountability, organization, and resilience

Pay
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
Schedule
This is a field-based sales role requiring entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of your role. Successful candidates must successfully complete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
