Account Manager

Woods & Co is partnering with a global technology company with offices across Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand to find a senior Account Manager for their Connecticut program. Since 2018, this organization has developed world-leading imaging and AI technology to reduce road fatalities and injuries caused by distracted driving.
About the role
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the General Manager, US. It's an established role focused on deepening and growing an existing government account relationship rather than net-new business development. You'll own the end-to-end delivery of the Connecticut program—operations, reporting, maintenance, and governance—while acting as the primary client interface.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day Connecticut program as the key client point of contact
- Drive strategic resource planning decisions and resolve competing priorities
- Ensure timely delivery of all contractual obligations to the highest safety and quality standards
- Identify and grow opportunities within the existing account, including the sale of additional technology assets
- Champion continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost
- Analyze program data to build reports that track performance, KPIs, and deliverables
- Manage project timelines and risks, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to executives and the customer
- Operate in line with established ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO 14001 systems
Requirements
- Experience managing government contracts is essential
- Ideally, experience in technology-enabled service delivery, road safety, enforcement, or government technology programs
- A track record of strong program governance—planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and reporting
- Comfort with technical/operational systems, maintenance, and performance metrics
- Experience building or improving SOPs and driving continuous improvement
- Sharp analytical skills with a focus on data integrity
- Familiarity with ISO-certified management systems is a plus
- Based in Connecticut or within an hour of East Hartford
- Must be willing to pass a police and driving history check (plus any additional client-required checks)
- Occasional national travel at short notice
- Some early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required due to global operations
