Account Manager
About the role
The Account Manager will be responsible for selling and presenting Varonis' products and services to current and net-new prospective enterprise accounts. They will be aligned with a local Sales Engineer and will work towards building a strong business justification to the end-user, while ensuring the annual quota is met or exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Possess and leverage a deep understanding of Varonis’ products and services to present compelling solutions to potential clients.
- Prospect and identify key decision-makers within targeted leads.
- Follow up on leads and referrals, maintaining and expanding the database of contacts within the targeted organizations.
- Book appointments, perform demos, and create proposals to support the sales process.
- Present to C-Level prospective clients and resellers through effective and enticing product demonstrations.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Channel Managers to determine a strategic sales approach.
- Respond to customer requests and manage/resolve customer issues to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
- Support the reseller communication channel throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College/University OR 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience/training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technology industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A healthy list of pre-established and prospective contacts in the given territory.
- Willingness to learn technical aspects of selling the Varonis product.
Qualifications
- Strong achievement focus and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience selling security software products through use of channel partners.
