Responsibilities

  • Possess and utilize strong business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the security software industry.
  • Identify and present Varonis' products and services to current and potential clients, including C-Level prospects and resellers.
  • Manage and expand the database of contacts within targeted organizations, follow up on leads and referrals, and book appointments.
  • Perform product demonstrations and create proposals, and partner with Sales Managers and Channel Managers to develop a strategic sales approach.
  • Respond to customer requests and manage/resolve customer issues, and support the reseller communication channel throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity details in the CRM system, and participate in marketing events as necessary.
  • Travel percentages vary by territory.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the security software industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook is preferred.
  • Prior experience selling software products through channel partners is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A comprehensive list of pre-established and prospective contacts in the assigned territory.
  • A willingness to learn and understand the technical aspects of selling Varonis' product.
  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

  • Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, plans for additional resources, sets goals and objectives, and develops realistic action plans.
