Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Create close relationships with customers to execute corporate plans, negotiate strategies, and meet business objectives.
- Deliver on volume and net sales objectives for all Confidential Company portfolio of products.
- Implement the sustainable Confidential Company Sales Model with strategic customers.
- Partner closely with the local synergy team of other Territory Managers to coordinate business and customer relationships as a whole.
- Develop and adhere to an effective call cycle to achieve desired service frequency to Confidential Company customer accounts to meet indicated net sales objectives at least twice a quarter.
- Manage all company resources for the territory to ensure that they are deployed in the most efficient and effective manner possible to achieve and exceed volume and net sales objectives.
- Develop an understanding of and, where appropriate, act on market intelligence that may impact the sale of the Confidential Company portfolio of products.
- Motivate, support, coach, train and develop customers to maximize the sale of the Confidential Company portfolio of products.
- Build a strong working relationship with Confidential Company customers at all levels within the practices and businesses they manage (doctor, optician, store manager, etc.).
- Drive assortment plans with customers.
- Ensure brand visual merchandising standards are met; refresh and leverage POP materials.
- Utilize all brand materials to conduct regular customer staff trainings to reinforce knowledge and ensure message to the patient/consumer is translated consistently to brand positioning standards.
- Cultivate the existing customer base, while partnering with the local sales representative team to prospect for new potential customers in the market.
- Monitor customers’ payment cycles and credit history.
- Participate in collection efforts as directed by the Company
Qualifications
- Experience in sales and customer relationship management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Knowledge of eyewear industry and product knowledge.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
