Responsibilities
- Maximize lead-to-funding conversion by understanding prospects’ dynamic needs and leveraging homeownership solutions to deliver an excellent homeowner experience.
- Own a large, warm pipeline, balancing speed and intentionality to segment and prioritize leads based on deal readiness, engagement, and qualification criteria using Salesforce.
- Convert leads with consultative selling: run high-volume call blocks, uncover homeowners’ goals with empathy, tailor financing options, and drive toward funding decisions.
- Drive your own growth through role-plays, call reviews, coaching, and iterating on conversion metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Underwriting, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth, compliant homeowner journey and refine sales processes.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of phone sales experience in financial services or a related field, including closing experience.
- Experience managing a customer pipeline and driving deals to close.
- Ability to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in the NMLS shortly after hire; multi-state licensing may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Comfortable using G Suite tools (Gmail, Calendar, etc.); CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Familiarity with U.S. real estate or mortgage processing is helpful but not required.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability to change, and a collaborative team player.
- Must be able to travel for two mandatory onsite events per year.
- Must have a distraction-free home office.
This position requires obtaining and maintaining an MLO license under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z within 60 days of hire. Licensing includes NMLS registration, a criminal background check, and a credit check. Point covers all associated costs. Employment is contingent on meeting and maintaining these requirements.
Pay
All U.S. metro areas: $60,000 base salary (non-exempt role with overtime eligibility). Uncapped commission with expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) of ~$90,000 in the first year for those meeting targets. Top performers can earn significantly more. New hires receive a $1,500 monthly commission guarantee for the first 3 months. Most ramp up within 3–4 months, with commissions increasing as experience grows.
