About the role
The Account Manager – Product Sales is responsible for increasing revenue volume and achieving strategic sales objectives by generating revenue, building customer relationships, and growing the customer base within an assigned geographical area. This role manages all aspects of selling and renting PERI’s products, solutions, and services, supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with PERI’s internal team.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect to identify potential customer sites and sell PERI products within a designated geographical area.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers, focusing on strong transactional relationships with decision-makers.
- Manage customer rental projects and serve as a liaison between PERI and the customer.
- Prospect and identify potential PERI customers/projects, establishing and building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage the sales lifecycle from initial customer contact to project closeout.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline to ensure target achievement and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maximize in-person customer interactions to understand requirements, provide support, and build relationships.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to add value throughout the sales cycle while maintaining product and service knowledge.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and collaborate with internal departments from project kick-off to closeout.
- Perform ongoing market research to stay updated on trends, changes, and growth activity impacting the business and customers.
- Understand the political, economic, and competitive landscape in the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, project management, or the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new technology/software.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Construction and/or formwork industry experience is preferred.
- Capacity to read structural drawings is preferred.
