About the role
Under broad supervision, responsible for achieving budgeted Professional Accounts (e.g., Transportation) sales within an assigned region or an assigned account. Develops programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. Accounts are typically at the Company or national level and are moderately complex in nature. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Customer order entry, including entering new part numbers into system for reporting.
- Manage customer expedites and confirm delivery timing with manufacturing team. Can include locating orders on production floor.
- Interact by phone and email with customers to answer questions, address concerns and assist them with their needs.
- Manage incoming orders, track progress, and oversee work order shipments through IQMS system and file.
- Follow-up on customer quotes and product sample orders as assigned by Business Development Managers or Operations Managers.
- Respond to requests from customers for information; contact customers regarding orders that are ready-to-ship.
- Receive and process quote packages including drawing interpretation. Recommends pricing.
- Represent Nylok at various trade show activities.
- Provide technical support to customers as necessary.
- Apply the 80/20 theory and practices to the customer base.
- Plan and prioritize schedule to meet goals established annually by General Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2-5 years similar experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule
Pay Range: $48,000.00 - $72,000.00
Position Qualification: Salary range $60,000+ depending on experience and knowledge.
